I retired from Eastern Kentucky University June 28, 2002 in order to pursue new challenges.
My best talent is project direction
                               
--taking ideas from inception through design and production teams and bringing them in under budget and on time.

 My experience includes training/teaching/speaking in 33 states and 3 continents and producing over 1000 video, CD, satellite and two-way video programs.  Clients include?   Fortune 100 and 500 managers and employees, state and local government agencies; High School, Jr High, summer camps  university, public and private school faculties and others.  A video presentation to adult groups is available-Sections are available on CD

Division of Media Resources  Television Section Coordinator:  responsibilities included supervising staff and students; producing video, satellite, and CD productions for the university and outside agencies and businesses;  conducting faculty workshops and helping them write scripts and sometimes teaching computer and media classes for EKU, area businesses and professional organizations.

Drama Coach:  Directed plays with High School and Junior High students in Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, and Brazil. .

Community Theatre:  Actor, director and coach in PA, MI, NY, Brazil and KY.   

Speaking and Teaching experience includes: adult workshops in various states; 7 years public school teaching; have conducted workshops for administrators, managers, supervisors, teachers and employees of hundreds of school systems, private companies and Fortune 100 companies—including IBM and Aramark.  Some of my industrial clients have been securing my consultant and training services since the early 70s.  Each semester we train dozens of students to successfully use our technical equipment to support university activities and faculty needs.

In Toastmasters International I have won several speaking contests, been president 3 times and held various other offices..

Activities include workshops, speeches and professional presentations in 33 states and three continents on subjects ranging from How to Use Technology in Classroom and TV, Working with Adults and Creating CD rom Programs to Polishing Your Professional Presentation Skills, Interpersonal Communications and Time Management.  Other presentations included Gender Gap Communications, Using Humor to Motivate and Communicate, How to Deal with Difficult People.  Clients have included Public School Teachers, University Faculty and Administrators in several states, leaders in many of the Fortune 100 & 500 companies, Federal and State Government Agencies, and International trainers and institutions

Responsibilities included instructional development for 3 secondary and 5 elementary schools; set up and staffed new district CCTV system; trained teachers; produced TV & AV assisted instruction all with student crews, talent, and support who I had to train and supervise.
